Volume 2 launch update —

Made lots of progress on the new episode 1 this week! Completed the most difficult page art for the preview version. Or at least what I thought was the most difficult. There's another page I can't seem to get right. I've started it and rejected it twice. The first reject became the January 2010 wallpaper!

Here's what I'm working on: some time in the next week, I'll release a 640x480 6-page flash book preview of the new episode 1. It will be viewable online, posted here and in my various galleries. Then I'll start work on the complete episode. It will be at least 20 pages!

SyFy whaa?? —

I haven't owned a TV or had cable in more than a year. Today, for the first time, I learned that the Sci-Fi Channel changed it's name to "SyFy" last summer. The only word that comes to mind is... GAY! I'm sorry, it's just GAY! What a godawful BAD idea! Anybody who saw my review of Avatar knows I take my science fiction seriously. The Sci-Fi Channel wasn't very serious about sci-fi, but holy christ! "SyFy" can only be an attempt to ditch any ACTUAL science fiction fans that happen to be left in favor of more generic-cable-crap. I hear they show wrestling on "SyFy" now. Jesus.

Okay, so that's my first post of 2010! Yay!
