Something about Mouse --

I did a commission last week featuring Mouse from the TV series Reboot. While sketching, I discovered something disturbing about Mouse. I've never liked her design. There's something about her face... her nose is too short, and it's flat across her face. I've always thought her face was just wrong, but I wasn't sure why. Then I did this first sketch.

It's Michael Jackson. The model for Mouse is Michael Jackson. The strange nose, the wide jawline... I knew there was something about this character that was just WRONG. And then there's the hair. It could be just a coincidence if it weren't for the hair. That's MJ's hair. It just IS. Mouse is Michael Jackson.

Sunday Bloody Sunday --
I saw an AWFUL movie last night called Sunday Bloody Sunday. You'd think, with a title like Sunday Bloody Sunday something interesting would happen. It didn't. It was senseless, pointless, went in circles, went nowhere... and then just ended. Not a single likeable character. Even the little kids were assholes.
