Got two new subscriptions this week. Don't ask me how or why! I didn't expect any newbies, what with the site being mostly down while I wait for an opportunity to get new hosting.

I've also been slapped with a suspension by Paypal. Hundreds of dollars frozen. I needed that money badly. So, short story: no new subscriptions will be sold for the foreseeable future.

I don't believe that Paypal is so successfully finding us quiet, small-time adult users on their own. SOMEBODY is ratting us out.

    You should try Stormpay it's like Paypal and they don't care about Adult Sites. I tried to reup a sub for a year but they were down. I like this comic it's pretty Funny.

  3. bedlam66 out of curiosity I checked out Stormpay and in their user agreement they write (and I quote)

    "You may not use StormPay to send or receive payments for any "adult" or "sexually oriented" materials or services. How does StormPay define "adult" or "sexually oriented" material? "Adult" or "sexually-oriented" material includes, but is not limited to: >Any visual representation of human genitals presented in such a manner as to suggest sexual activity;
    Any visual representation of any form of sexual intercourse involving humans;
    Any materials which require that individuals be eighteen (18) or older (depending on the jurisdiction) to view or purchase those materials;
    Any non-textual materials clearly designed to sexually arouse the viewer/reader, including adult phone or audio services;
    Any items which, because of their nature or because of the item description, appear to be designed for use in sexual/adult activity;
    Escort services
    Any items which depict human sexual characteristics in a degrading fashion;
    Any item that portrays frontal nudity will normally be treated as "adult" material"

    end quote
    Bottom line, Stormpay and Paypal seem to be pretty much the same, unless Stormpay tends to "look the other way" which may be true but hardly a reliable assurance that they won't suddenly get on their j.o.b. and seize her assets.

    I don't know what the solution is for sure. I think it is having your own website and thru that website using a service like CC Bill to collect $$ to view the comic strip or a "shopping cart" program like Zen Cart which (I admit) I have heard good things about but have never tried.

    Good Luck!

  4. Quick Question re: subscriptions. I signed up for your comics, got a reciept e-mail, yet didn't get any. I'm just wondering if my order didn't go through. Where do I go to check?

    Did you actually PAY for your subscription? I've had several people REQUEST a subscription, but then never PAY for it.

    Or did you pay for it but supply a bad e-mail address? Or did you pay for it but then never respond to the confirmation request? I've had a batch of subscribers who never responded to any of my attempts to confirm their subscriptions.

    These particular susbcribers simply won't respond to e-mail. One of them responded to a notice I sent out about a page being late, saying that he hadn't received any pages. I sent him the confirmation message for the FOURTH time, and once again, ignored it. Why would anyone do this?? Pay for something then never respond??

    I haven't been able to refund money anyway, as I have never been able to access any of my Paypal money, and unfortunately, that's where ALL of my Ultra Fem money is. I haven't been selling new subscriptions because of this problem, and it doesn't look like it's going to be solved. EVER.
